Wrote and edited software for different battery pack management systems and pack applications. Modified electrical schematics and designed interfaces with all pack related components. Hybrid Electronic Stability Control DevelopmentSuccessfully led the integration of electronic stability control into a parallel road coupled, rear wheel drive vehicle. Spent several months at low friction and high friction test facilities to aid in development and calibration. Unique functionality included independently controlled traction control of both powertrains, regenerative braking slip control, and load shifting control. Hybrid Test EngineerExtensive electrical harness and component troubleshooting, hybrid calibration and optimization on an all-wheel drive dynamometer. Developed and executed test and calibration procedures for hybrid and electric vehicles. Analyzed and generated reports on powertrain efficiency and performance from acquired data. Hybrid System Controller Software DevelopmentHelp generate hybrid functional requirements, participated in a thorough system FMEA and ISO 26262 safety analysis. This past summer, I was a hybrid electric design intern for Bright Automotive, recently named by CNN Money as one of six prominent electric car start-up companies. As the only design intern, I was provided a significant opportunity to participate in a wide variety of conceptual design, system integration and modeling projects. In particular, I concentrated most of my efforts on lithium ion battery pack design and modeling, and hybrid electric cooling system modeling.
