During my tenure as a Senior Certified Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, I had a wide range of responsibilities and tasks that were critical to the success of the pharmacy. My primary duties were to assist the pharmacist in filling and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently, as well as ensuring that all prescription medications were stored properly and securely. This included receiving and stocking new medications, ensuring that expired medications were disposed of properly, and managing the pharmacy's drug order system. I was also responsible for managing patient information and records. This involved entering and updating patient information in the pharmacy's computer system, ensuring that patient information was kept confidential and secure, and verifying insurance information. One of the most important responsibilities of my role was to provide excellent customer service and care to all patients. This involved answering questions about medications, providing limited guidance on medication usage, dosage and adherence, and helping patients understand their insurance coverage. In addition to these core responsibilities, I also played a role in supporting the pharmacy team as a whole. I also took on the task of managing customer relationships, providing excellent customer service, and managing returns and refunds.As a small business owner, I had to learn, adjust, and adapt quickly. I spent a lot of time developing and executing marketing strategies, managing social media accounts, and creating engaging content for my website. Overall, owning and operating an online retail business required me to be adaptable, proactive, and a fast learner. It was a challenging and rewarding experience that allowed me to develop a wide range of skills and knowledge in business management, customer service, graphic design, and marketing.
