Justin Harmond is the Substation Construction Manager for Georgia Power Company and currently leads a statewide team of Construction Field Managers, Contractors, Foremen and 167 union covered employees that are responsible for the physical construction, equipment installation and switchboard wiring for all of Georgia Power. He has over 15 years of electric utility experience with Georgia Power and Mississippi Power. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and has worked in the areas of Distribution, Transmission, Substations, Switchboard Wiring, Reliability, Power Quality, Storm Restoration and Sales and Marketing. Justin has diverse management experience with proven results and has managed numerous departments and multi million-dollar budgets across the Southeast. He is a member of the Electric Utility Outdoor Lighting Council (EUOLC), was a presenter and panelist at the 4th International Street Lighting and Smart Controls Conference in Sydney Australia, and spoke at the Illuminating Engineering Society North America (IESNA) Street and Area Lighting Conference (SALC) in San Diego as well as the United Nation's Climate Week in New York City.
