LavaLab is the premier student-run product incubator on campus. I was admitted into the program and underwent an intensive learning curriculum which emphasized entrepreneurship and the interdisciplinary field of business, technology, and design. In this program, I joined a team of four to ideate, prototype, and create an application of our choice. That application, TommyBot, is a chatbot built and designed to help USC students navigate the campus and the community.

I continued my independent research on Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) from prior work I conducted from the summer of 2014 -- as a result, I contributed to a growing body of knowledge of the biological mechanisms in NPM1 mutant cases of AML. Furthermore, I optimized lab technology by writing scripts in R to help streamline data representation. My code helped and currently helps 20 lab members in the Scott Armstrong Lab to produce graphical data.
