Over 26 years Justin has gained extensive experience as an adviser. He began his career in his own business in South Africa in 1982, growing it over 17 years to 7 offices with over 50 staff. He wrote a weekly column called “Thinking Finance” for the largest circulation newspaper in South Africa before migrating to Australia in 1999 where his first job was managing Ipac’s financial planning division.He has studied in South Africa, the USA and Australia and is qualified in both the technical and the life skills having both a CFP and an RLP, one of only two in Australia.Justin is highly committed to the future of the profession and has put his hand up to be part of it’s development. He is a member of the FPA’s NSW committee, the Disciplinary committee, and Chairs the sub-committee on Advising 2020 and Beyond.He was also a judge of the Value of Advice Awards in 2008 and has assisted the University of Technology to develop their curriculum for the financial planning major.Justin is a passionate believer in the role a skilled financial planner can play in the happiness of an individual.
