The Reliability Specialist is responsible for improving the reliability of the Product Line’s equipment assets. The Reliability Specialist reduces the cost of service delivery (CoSD) of the Product Line’s assets in the coverage network. This person develops and standardizes reliability improvement processes for the Centers for Reliability and Efficiency (CREs) and Maintenance Bases (MBs). Also, ensures knowledge capture for equipment design improvement.

Worked with software development team for field testing, commercialization and role out of new software products to North America field locations. Once software was rolled out to field locations, our team was responsible for ensuring competency with the new systems.

During my time in this role, I worked with new product development (R & D) engineers to help make designs and concepts a reality. Our deployment team was responsible for field testing, commercialization, and ensuring field level users were trained and competent in using the new products.

The Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands. The Mechanical Technician improves maintenance related nonproductive time ratio of the Product Line's assets within the Maintenance Base (MB), and improves maintenance efficiency and people productivity.

Our team certified all the engine models manufactured at the plant on dynamometers, and made any necessary repairs to the engines. We worked on every model from C-9 to C-18.
