Responsible for the day to day operations and safety for four offices (Dallas, San Antonio, West Texas, and Houston). Advised and directed area managers on issues that arose. Responsible for revamping and launching the training program for new employees and yearly training for existing employees and supervisors.~ Knowledge of the status of company wide fleet daily in four markets~ Knowledge of the status of fleet personnel daily in four markets~ Assisted area managers with troubleshooting, questions, and concerns~ Efficiently cover all jobs daily in four markets~ Report to the President daily the status in each market~ Perform monthly audits/inspections by visiting each market~ Assits area managers with recruiting and hiring of new staff~ Verify proper training is implemented immediately upon hire~ Inspect all new equipment purchased with lead mechanic~ Process and inspect new purchased company vehicles~ Perform and complete yard site safety inspections~ Assist safety manager with job site safety issues and accident investigations~ Back up support for the safety manager
