Nothing fascinates me more than exploring human behavior and how we interact with technology. I’ve always been a curious and observational learner, so it’s little surprise my professional journey led me to the discipline of User Experience. Everything I do revolves around a person’s experience. For me, no matter the event, no matter the solution, everything begins and ends with a human’s experience. This is very true to Square Six’s approach to problem solving with technology. It takes balance to ensure that tech designed to solve a problem is also designed for the person using it. Empathy leads you to that balance. At my core I am a designer of experiences. Figuring out how use my skills at the right time in the right way to produce the best solution for our clients is a challenge that never gets old. I’m not sure if this is how I’ve always intuitively solved problems or if my career as a UX Designer has influenced how I look at problem solving. Either way, I have embraced it wholeheartedly.
