The Chattanooga, TN facility is a plant that reacts Nylon-6,6 and converts it into yarn. The Laurel Hill facility uses the yarn to produce a woven fabric that is an internal component of tires providing reinforcing support to the final product.Back-up Regional SHE Leader. Served as Interim Regional SHE Leader for a 350-400 person multi-site business unit. With 3 Full-time salaried reports and 1-contractor report (3-days per week). Reporting directly to COO of North and South America. (December 2021 to March 2022).

The job with the Hamilton County Emergency Communications District is an extension of my previous job with the Chattanooga Police Department. The local emergency Communications groups consolidated to operate more cost efficiently. In doing so I learned multiple agencies standard operating procedures and how to implement them into my job function. I am working part-time on University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's bi-weekly payroll assisting Dr. Craddock with research working on the restoration of the American Chestnut tree. Some of my duties include monitoring plants at the greenhouse for overall health, irrigation, fertilizing, orchard work including pruning, harvesting and data collection, driving university vehicles to field sites to do various tasks, preparing agar to use as a growth medium for chestnut blight, operating the autoclave, inoculating saplings with ectomycorrhizal fungi to encourage better growth, and making repairs to the drip irrigation system.

I was trained to receive telephone calls for administrative and emergency situations for fire and police dispatch. These calls are entered into a computer and prioritized based on the details of the situation. I then take the priority calls and dispatch using a computer and radio equipment. Some of the work requires using the county GIS system to retrieve relevant information to a call.The GIS contains fairly rudimentary information such as addressing, elevation, various coordinate systems, satellite and aerial photographs and limited topographic functions. My use of the GIS system is mainly to find locations from cellular coordinates or descriptions and general familiarity with the jurisdiction gained from job experience to assist police and fire units with finding an issue that they are responding to. In special circumstances I also use it to determine heights of different structures, determine locations of items of relevance on structures such as locations of doors or windows on a building or establishing a perimeter based on the situation and geography of the area that is being searched.
