Oversees DEC's Lean Initiative which includes coordinating, facilitating, supporting and leading Lean events, training staff on Lean tools and how to apply them, and building a culture of continuous improvement. Also identifies and tracks Department performance measures, helps draft planning documents, and assists with strategic planning efforts to ensure alignment with DEC’s goals and our Results Based Accountability framework.

Led the Green Infrastructure Initiative on behalf of the Agency of Natural Resources which involved implementing Executive Order 06-12, coordinating the Inter-Agency Green Infrastructure Council and Green Infrastructure Roundtable, developing and supporting the Green Infrastructure Strategic Plan, conducting outreach and education activities, and providing technical support and guidance internally and externally.
