In 2007, I started a blog to write about B2B eCommerce when no one cared about B2B eCommerce. When Grainger launched their new site in 2011, people googled "B2B eCommerce," and my little site was peppered over the first 10 pages of results. My little blog had years of content, point of view, and opinions - many of which are the foundation of the B2B eCommerce industry today. I am very proud of that.The blog, and then eventually the book, launched my speaking career. "My favorite thing to do professionally is to influence people through speaking. I believe the best expression of my experience and my passion is my ability to communicate with large groups of people." In 2010 I joined Endeca to build the B2B positioning for hybris, and my life changed when I was introduced to the world of Software instead of consulting. After being acquired by Oracle, I eventually started B2X Partners and sold it to Salsify (founded by Endeca alums) in 2019.In 2023, I was able to leave Salsify and a leadership team I loved and join Brett Sinclair at the B2B eCommerce Association with the support of the Salsify team. I love people and networking. I love speaking and writing. Most of all, I love helping and watching people and organizations change.
