Optimised Business Intelligence Reporting by consulting & developing TM1/Cognos as a solution to the reporting inefficiencies cutting down setup time from half a day to a few minutes of preparation. This roll out in Australia of TM1/Cognos was recognised globally by IBM for best practice and a global case study on their website.Accounting Intern strategy to provide interns as a strategy to develop a talent pool & better support for the business. HWL was selected out of 1,500 host organisations to provide a video of the effectiveness of this program and is promoted to all major Universities & Colleges in Australia. Initiated cash flow improvements Solved major long standing debtor problem through consulting & engagement of customer process issues, saving the company $1m of additional cash flow per month. I solved this major cash flow problem that I ended up reducing Debtor Days (DSO) by 10 days.Printer Fleet Optimisation by consulting & engaging in a national tender with functional head of IT to build a business case to reduce printer fleet from 70 printers down to 25. This resulted in significant process efficiencies and saving the company $300k per year.Optimised Sales Pipeline Reporting by consulting and engaging with National Sales team, introduced business intelligence tool to target sales reps to focus on pre-defined qualified leads for their area. This resulted in an increased conversion rate of 30% of new business worth approx. $1m per year.

Led the finance teams across all National Hydrocarbon sites in the Oil/Gas industry.Major SAP ERP System improvements through consulting of internal stakeholders & customer to develop SAP RCTI system enhancements with internal & external stakeholders, which resulted in overcoming legacy cash flow problem to and improved debtor payments of aged debt from $1.2m to $30k over 90 days.Developed a new methodology & standard best practice for managing shutdowns for large project mobilisation by building the center of excellence knowledge base of processes, systems & methodology to setup these projects. Development of standard operating procedures & service level agreements to transition 12 sites to a shared services center in preparation to transition the processes across to a central shared services center function. Each site had its own unique processes that needed to be mapped out in order to transition AP and Payroll functions off the sites.The key finance business partner to 12 unique industrial Oil/Gas sites working closely with senior operational staff throughout Australia. Providing excellent customer service and advice to get the most from their contracts.Won major customer tender worth $100m by working closely with a major Oil/Gas customer to resolve all past claims, errors & disputes. Subsequent advice & feedback into commercial teams. As a result we successfully renewed a major contract that was initially bound to be lost worth $100m over 5 years.Built up projects business from ground up by working & consulting closely with project managers to build sales pipeline, developing SAP systems to allow for quick mobilization & reporting of various project streams & team to support the customers needs. After 2 years we built this up to a business turning over $5m per year.
