As an electrical and computer engineering student at North Carolina State University, I am always eager for opportunities to learn. Through recent experiences in my education and internships, I have gained industry-relevant experience with multiple career paths. My focus has been on professional engineering design services and gaining skills in programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM360. Starting my junior year at NCSU we have explored hardware, software, and logic design as all viable careers and areas of further study. Building up from assembly language to others such as C, C++, and Verilog, I have diversified my knowledge in the electrical field. With my variety of experience in multiple internships and job shadowing opportunities only growing I believe I can be a valuable asset to any company with an electrical engineering component. Growing up being a handyman and a jack of all trades taught me to not put all of my eggs in one basket. I enjoy widening the breadth of my knowledge with each experience that comes my way and having the ability to bring a fresh perspective to my work that seldom others can offer. I am looking forward to my next two years at NC State and all of the lessons and relevant life experiences that will come along. In the future, I hope to receive a dual degree in electrical and computer engineering. Obtain my fundamentals of engineering, and later become a licensed professional engineer.
