As the Senior Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist, I led the OHSAS 18001 program of the company's integrated management system and I am responsible for occupational health & safety compliance for site. In addition, I supported the ISO 14001 program and Basel application needs while assisting on corporate related EHS matters. Key achievements include the successful transition of the integrated management system for ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 to the 2015 revision. Also revised the risk management procedure to consider human and cultural factors in assessing risk at the workplace.

As an Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer, I looked after the Singapore site, advising all departments on EHS matters ranging from risk management, licensing requirements, audits, training, incident investigation and other aspect of the EHS management system . In addition, I also took on the role of the site Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), being the subject matter expert on radiation. Key achievements include successfully completed the transfer of manufacturing operations from USA to Singapore within the allocated 6 months timeframe, integrating the new EHS procedures into the management system and setting up a radiation management program on site; Receiving the Silver Award from Singapore Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Council WSH Performance Award in 2014 & 2016; Successfully organise company Asia Pacific EHS conference in Singapore in 2015 where respective regional sites EHS representatives gathered to share knowledge and update on EHS developments in respective countries.

As an Assistant Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer, i supported on HSE administrative, auditing and training needs while based at corporate HQ. In addition, I was also attached to project sites on various occasions as site HSE personnel to support operational requirements. Key achievements include a successful completion of Invista Shutdown 2011 as Plant Safety with no loss time injury. Also organise in a team, Rotary Safety Carnival involving up to 800 employees, a carnival-like safety promotion event held right at the workers dormitory with the aim of bring safety education to their doorsteps through various activites like talks, demonstrations, competitions and games.
