Justin Lefkovitch founded Mirrored Media, the award-winning experiential agency that has reshaped how brands interact with consumers. Lefkovitch positioned the company at the intersection of music, influencers, fashion, art, automotive, film, technology, and the fan experience. Mirrored has grown into an industry-leading experiential agency that creates high-impact, enduring lifestyle campaigns specializing in music and entertainment. It helps brands reach their target markets through authentic, buzzworthy, and stand-out experiences that are a win-win for the brand, talent, and ultimately the fans. Lefkovitch continues to curate some of the most successful activations in the space, gaining industry-wide recognition for their transformational results. His innovative ideas have changed the way some of the largest brands engage with their consumers. His introduction to experiential marketing differed from most. As a teenager in Los Angeles, Justin was an acclaimed touring magician and a regular featured performer at the world-famous Magic Castle alongside some of the industry’s biggest names. Soon after, while attending Pepperdine University, he began to manage a well known singer songwriter, giving him more exposure and expertise in the world of music and entertainment. During this time, he often saw firsthand the inherent issues that were present when brands were attempting to market with talent. It was during this paradigm shift in marketing and music that he wrote a business plan and submitted it to the school’s Graziadio Business Plan Competition. After emerging as a finalist, he soon realized that he had a viable business model. Also around that time, he met Steve Kofsky and world-renowned film composer Hans Zimmer who invited him to join them at their Santa Monica campus. In the early days of building his company, Justin immediately noticed that there were a lot of similar techniques he used in magic that translated to the world of experiential marketing. He was moved by being able to bolster the brand-consumer relationship through creating magical moments in time. Presently, Justin continually highlights the similarities between magic and creating the perfect experience. The difference between a successful effect and a transparent one is often so minute, that the tiniest extra detail transforms an ordinary experience into something extraordinary or a miracle. Specifically, while creating an immersive experience, the smallest overlooked details can pull someone out of that experience and detract from a brand’s messaging.
