As the Operations Director for the Computer Science Student Council, I play a key role in orchestrating our major events and ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations. I've introduced a fresh operational system that revolves around two dedicated teams, each led by a team lead. Together, we form a vibrant department of 19 individuals.My primary focus is on guiding and mentoring the team leads, who, in turn, lead and inspire their respective teams. This hierarchical structure fosters a dynamic environment where each member has a defined role, and collective efforts lead to the success of our events. I take pride in facilitating open communication, sharing insights, and providing support to empower our team leads to excel in their roles.In essence, my role is to serve as a compass, offering strategic guidance to ensure that our operations align seamlessly with the goals of the Computer Science Student Council.

As a former Platoon Commander in the 42nd Singapore Armoured Regiment, I demonstrated my leadership skills by effectively managing and overseeing a team of over 30 men. During my tenure, I had the opportunity to be part of the pioneering battalion for the country's new armored fighting vehicle and lead vehicle readiness for the Hunter, the Army’s first fully digital fighting vehicle.I am proud to have achieved several notable accomplishments during my National Service, including being named Platoon Best Trainee at the Specialist Cadet School (Foundation Term) and ranking in the top 10% of Honour Graduates in the Armor Specialist Course (Silver Bayonet). I also served on the Media Team during the 21/20 Armor Specialist Course, contributing to the publication of a batch magazine.
