I am a Masters' degree holder and process engineer in mechanical engineering at Intel Corp. At my most recent posting, I inherited a large and active toolset with a variety of automation an efficiency issues. While there, I performed continuous improvement of monitoring, automated and reporting systems to maximise output and availability to minimise both downtime and quality issues. I also designed best known method (BKM) training documents at the departmental level to standardise response flow control to unforeseen events.I am no stranger to working under high pressure and calmly responding to stressful unforeseen circumstances with precision. I also take pride in finding clear and concise ways to present findings to discuss the most relevant solutions possible. In addition, I have gained numerous Microsoft Excel and basic programming skills on the job to automate and simplify tasks.Outside of work, I actively participate in medieval recreation and live combat with the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) to indulge my passion for history and arts. I also volunteer at various soup kitchens, political housing and land movements, and skill shares with upcycling and sustainable living iniatives with the local community.Before my current posting, I did power consumption management and cost saving for large sites. I also worked in the production and maintenance of diesel-powered train cars and elevator trucks.
