Roommatefit provides personality-based engagement tools and roommate matching to colleges and universities.As founder, I took the company through the customer development process, from idea to initial customers. I assembled a top team, including an industry-expert psychology Ph.D., and developed an algorithm-based software product. Roommatefit was accepted into both a Carnegie Mellon University startup accelerator program and Alphalab, a Pittsburgh startup accelerator and member of the TechStars network. It totally failed tho.

Built two courses for Appsumo, helped market them and brought on freelance course creators.

Cloudfab was an online platform for creating 3D printed products. The company's innovative auto-quoting system and distributed manufacturing capability lead to an acquisition in early 2012. At Cloudfab, I was responsible for normal company operations. I also worked on building a sales process and contacting prospective customers. I was also responsible for online marketing, where I used various ad platforms and email marketing to drive sales (over 700% in two months), as well as social media engagement. I sourced three new manufacturing suppliers and 6 new 3D printing materials.

Jumpstart's goal was to close the literacy gap between low-income and high-income children entering 1st grade.As a corps member, I spent over 300 hours helping children from lower income communities in the Pittsburgh area improve their literacy, reading and comprehension skills.
