I am a partner at the law firm of Becker, Glynn, Muffly, Chassin & Hosinski LLP. We are a private-client and corporate-client practice that focuses on the counseling of high-net-worth international and domestic clients, international and domestic family offices, and international and domestic businesses in all facets of inbound U.S. investment and U.S. operations. Our firm assists clients with personal and corporate tax planning, commercial and residential real estate, domestic and international trust and estate planning, corporate transactions and corporate finance, pre-immigration tax planning, private equity matters, offshore structuring, domestic and foreign fund formation, employment law, litigation, bankruptcy, and securities. My private client practice focuses on commercial and high-end residential real estate, the formation of corporate and wealth succession structures, the formation and management of both offshore and domestic entities, foreign and domestic real estate fund formation, general tax planning for U.S. real estate investments, and general transactional matters. Between February 2015 and February 2020, I was an associate at Grant, Herrmann, Schwartz & Klinger LLP where I represented high-net-worth foreign families on all facets of inbound U.S. investment. Between September 2013 and February 2015, I was an associate at Weidenbaum & Harari, LLP in their real estate and finance practice. Along with representing both purchasers and sellers in commercial and residential real estate transactions, we also represented owners/developers in new construction projects. Additionally, the firm represented financial institutions in lending. Between August 2012 and May 2013, I completed a legal internship at the law firm of Weidenbaum & Harari, LLP working in their real estate practice. During the summer of 2012, I worked as a legal intern in the New York State Court System. I represented civil litigants in consumer credit and bankruptcy issues against original creditors and third-party debt purchasers. I have successfully completed two summer internships at the District Attorney's Office of Suffolk County. My first internship with the District Attorney's Office was in the Economic Crimes Bureau (2009). My second internship was in the District Court Bureau (2011). During my time at New York Law School, I was an associate member of the Securities Arbitration Clinic. As an associate member, I represented investors who had been defrauded by securities brokers in FINRA arbitration proceedings.
