I was contracted as the full-time embedded Program Manager for Transit Asset Management (TAM) at the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA). In this position I led an asset management team of 5 project managers in approximately 12 improvement projects annually for over $10B in assets. I burgeoned agency-wide support of asset management through coordinating with senior directors & managers. Additionally, I communicated with Federal, State, and Local Government executives for TAM reporting and compliance. Through leading annual customized workshops across 18 departments, I helped to expand agency staff knowledge on Asset Management and how it fits into the work they already do. As part of the effort to increase agency-wide staff knowledge and boost program support we developed a team of 12 office/division representatives for TAM who review all asset management project outcomes and engage staff within their departments on asset management.

In this position I led efforts in securing $180K in funding including government, foundation, business, corporate and individual giving. I communicated development objectives and action steps to 18 Board of Directors. I engaged internal and external stakeholders at the Business, Corporate, Local & State government levels. I also surged advancement efforts by developing a strategic plan to support a $750K budget, established an advancement committee, and grew public awareness through marketing on Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and cross-branding of Habitat for Humanity and the ReStore. In coordinating the 2017 Dinner Auction, I increased revenue by $47K from previous year’s event through honing in on the desired outcome of the event, changing the venue/catering options, and ensuring donations are directed to projects rather than the majority going to the costs of event, for which the model was followed in subsequent years. I increased the number of press releases on special events (groundbreaking, dedications, third party fundraisers, and the Dinner Auction), placing advertisements in local magazines and on local radio stations.
