The goal of my research is to improve individualized treatment options for patients with aggressive, metastatic cancers. My lab focuses on the discovery and development of new drugs that target key signal transduction proteins known as kinases for novel treatments as well as protein-based biomarkers that may identify these proteins in patient tissues or liquid biopsies using targeted proteomics techniques coupled with mass spectrometry.
