Maintained a detailed editorial calendar for all three sites, tripled traffic across the board, and sourced interviews with top athletes, coaches, and other sports figures. Often operated as a one-man band in content creation, from formulating the idea, assigning the article (to myself or a contributor), proofreading and editing, including relevant media, providing detailed descriptions for graphic design, and scheduling the best day and time to publish to drive traffic.

Netanya Area, Israel

Extensively covered the 2018 World Lacrosse Championships in Netanya, Israel, in July 2018, finding all my own stories and reporting. For the months preceding the event, I covered international lacrosse as a whole with an emphasis on lacrosse in Israel, finding most of my own ideas myself. For the job, I moved to and lived in Israel for nine months and traveled to various places in Europe to report on lacrosse.

Wrote mostly features on everything from a strongman competition to Krav Maga to minor league baseball. Was often sent out and told to find my own stories, and used reporting skills to learn unique angles and discover stories. Pitched original story ideas I found, such as a minor league baseball player who spent 10 years working to get to the professional level. Also asked to cover games and write gamers on strict deadline for multiple sports, like basketball and soccer.

College Park, Maryland

Started The Left Bench from scratch with two other journalism majors enthusiastic about sports journalism. By the time I graduated, the site had more than 70 staffers, including writers, editors, broadcasters and more. We were credentialed for Maryland athletics and DC United, had a biweekly online studio show (TLBTV), a sister site for high schoolers interested in sports journalism to get their feet wet (TLBJV) and won numerous awards from the Baltimore Sun and the Society of Professional Journalists.As editor in chief, I ran day-to-day operations of our print side, editing articles, determining layouts, helping teach our writers, managing the staff and more. I was the site's men's basketball beat writer for the 2016-17 season, covering every game on deadline, writing features and fulfilling all normal duties of a beat writer. Additionally, as part of TLBTV, I featured prominently in our post-game videos where a co-host and I would talk about the game on camera for the video to put tweeted and occasionally used in the studio show version.

Worked in the D.C. bureau and commuted there twice a week to work part-time while still taking classes in my final semester. Pitched all my own story ideas and found all my own original sources, such as defining and explaining the advanced hockey stat PDO and the economic impact the Washington Nationals, Baltimore Ravens and Winnipeg Jets have had on their cities since moving to them. Also covered Donald Trump's Inauguration and other political events in Congress.

De facto sports intern for the 2015 summer writing mostly features. I helped cover the Columbus Blue Jackets Developmental Camp and other various events, including the 2015 Junior National Volleyball Championships, where I was sent blindly to find and deliver a story.

Started out as an intern writing about University of Maryland sports for the SB Nation Maryland blog, Testudo Times. After proving myself, I was elevated to the position of staff writer. I did mainly recruiting writing for Testudo Times, which involved finding high school recruits, reaching out to them, interviewing them and then turning that into an article profiling the athlete. In addition, I wrote short, quick news hits and make game threads for basketball games.
