Responsibilities:Responsible for the delivery of the security elements on a £1.2Bn capital investment program for through a joint venture for Scottish WaterResponsible for all elements of design, scope, delivery and compliance with Government issued Advice Notes to live operational assetsFull managerial responsibility for all technical, commercial and operational aspects of all security projects across Scotland (£21M PA) * During the delivery of the programs in Scotland and upon identifying the market opportunity I worked with the Gallifordtry PLC board for the formation of a new business unit within the groupSuccessful establishment of the new brand GTIS, all marketing and market positioning and capabilities led to contract awards and a turnover of £18.2M in 18 monthsThe business unit flourished to a team of over 220 staff with an annual turnover of £100M+ successfully delivering for clients within the transport, water, gas, power and telecommunications sectorsAchievements: New business formation, development of a brand, market positioning led to the successful award of 5 year National Grid framework, 7 year water sector frameworks and new clients to the Galliford Try group being secured through dedicated bid and tender managementTeam recruitment and the delivery of programs for Gatwick airport, EDF Energy, Network Rai, National Grid and 7 water companies in the UK.Program delivery environments ranged from airside working at Gatwick airport, Toxic Gas rooms in the water industry, trackside with Network Rail, live Gas & Electric installations for National Grid during the run up to the Olympic Games.

Delivery of a high profile and critical project to swap Motorolla BTS kit to Nokia including all planning, resilience and control of integration, scar testing and performance testing. Each swap event (60 sites each) was planned over evenings and weekends, depending on network traffic dynamics etc. Included in the project was the responsibility for management and delivery of re-tune events on a regular basis.

Responsible for a UK and Ukrainian joint venture into the mobile communications market in the Ukraine. Managing a fantastic team comprised from the UK and Ukraine we were successfully awarded 134 sites to design, acquire, build and integrate across the Ukraine through our network of offices.

Network construction delivery manager for the Southern UK area, responsible for cell planning, acquisition, design, build and integration of all new build, upgrades, enhacements to various types of equipment and sites.

Travelling around the world self funded for a year out. South Africa, Australia, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

Responsible for recruitment and management of the team to provide planning and delivery of the secure Police network across 6 forces in the Midlands and Thames Valley areas. The team delivered Radio planning, Acquisition, Design, Build and the Police force acceptance and sign off. The program was delivered on budget, to time and quality objectives and received team commendation for the management of the build delivery profile.

Responsible for the PICK team managing the delivery of Network Construction activities for co-ordination of Power dates, Nokia / Motorolla kit on site, commsioning, communications link delivery, radio plans, integration planning and final completion into the network. Management and delivery or resolution of all special events, network capacity issues, carrier utilisation, network performance including planning of all new build Macro, micro and pico cell's into the network.Achiving the PICK team of the year award 2 years running!

Senior Authorised Person, for HV & LV switching overhead and underground. Writing LV & HV switching plans, load monitoring and isolations for the replacement of HV switchgear and transformers. Jointing and fitting engineering qualifications also undertaken to joint PILC, Polymeric and Live LV underground cables. Responsible for 2 teams of jointers and fitters, work planning, shutdowns and isolations, load monitoring, line walking and inspections, warm and hot spot inspections.Also carried call out responsibilities as a DST (Distribution Supply Technician) for emergency situations.

4 year time served apprenticeship, to become commercial and domestic electrician, further followed by testing technician qualification.
