Senior-level technology leader, reporting to the CTO with shared reporting responsibilities to the CIO. Responsible for leading all efforts related to IT strategy, technology solution design, architecture, selection, and efforts to drive innovation and technology enablement/modernization. Guides the IT organization through establishing architectural direction and defining technology enablers that drive delivery of product and business solutions, focused on driving overall design for reuse, patterns of proactive, and scalable solutions. Lead and oversaw the IT Project Management Office team that executed and operated various technology project portfolios related to IT infrastructure, information security, data analytics, applications, etc. Manage the IT strategic planning processes for the department. Also involved in various operational, governance, innovation, and process improvement initiatives for the organization.

Oversaw and led a sizable team that managed the portfolio of clinical technology application functions within LifePoint’s ambulatory and post-acute settings including implementations (eCW and athenahealth, predominantly), program and project management, interface integration and interoperability, and technical operations. During my tenure, my team managed and executed thousands of physician office EMR, PM, and RCM implementations across the country, as well as managed portfolios of new technology implementations (patient engagement, voice/dictation, new devices, etc.) and interface and device integration projects. All functions of oversight were related to clinical technology and operations including program and project management, strategic planning, interface integration, data migrations, infrastructure readiness, hardware setup and testing, application build, data strategy, and innovation. Acted as key communication representative involving portfolio updates to operations with our IT and Physician Services leadership. Led the development and oversight of the execution of robust project plans focusing on technical readiness for implementations, optimization, and upgrades. Participated in various acquisitions and divestiture deals across various states.
