Responsibilities included:- Management and lifecycle of all assets (cell/desk phones, laptops, desktops)- Maintain over 900+ assets across 30+ locations in the southern Wisconsin area- Management of SCCM and other key systems used by the desktop team- Maintain AD OU structure and Group Policy. Create/consolidate/remove GPOs as needed.- Maintain and create documentation of key systems- Security vulnerability scanning and remediation- Software packaging and deployment using tools such as PDQ Deploy or Ivanti/SCCM- Imaging and deployment of computers using SCCM- Windows 10 migration- Scripting and automation using PowerShell- Provide timely tier 2/tier 3 support for end users (tickets escalated from the helpdesk)

"The technician provides assistance with technical software, hardware and network diagnostics to all CHCB staff. Communication with staff may be done over the phone, in person or remotely. Communication to staff will be done in a user-friendly, professional manner. Provides assistance to the IT Director and Network Administrator with departmental projects. Conducts hardware and software inventory database maintenance and reports. Performs maintenance one weekend day a month as required."In this role, I was the first point of contact for support requests within the organization. I was also responsible for procurement, configuration, and deployment of computing hardware (desktops, printers, phones, etc).Being a small, non-profit organization, we did much of our work in-house. I spent many weekends assisting the Director of IT, as well as the Network Administrator, with various departmental projects.Major projects that I was heavily involved in:- Complete building structured cabling rewire of Safe Harbor and South End Health Centers (all new cat6e cabling)- New server room construction from the ground up at two clinics (new racks, servers, cabling, cable management)- Security camera installation and configuration at multiple clinicsI gained extensive knowledge of the installation best practices of structured cabling (copper) in this role, and performed many duties consistent with that of a Jr. System Administrator.
