Responsibilities included:- Active management of the Retail business unit's finances, budgeting and forecasting and profitability, on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis- Day to day management of a team of 10 accountants and 3 leasing controllers who work across various client portfolios- Client interaction and the attending of monthly management meetings- Part of the JHI SAP project as the person responsible for the Retail business units implementationClient list included, amongst others:- Sasol Pension Fund- Resilient- Various private clients- Fourways Precinct and Georgiou Group

Responsibilities included:- Preparation of monthly accounts & management packs- Hedge accounting & the preparation of hedge accounting documentation- IFRS financial reporting- Liaising with auditors at half year end & year end- Took part in the implementation of a new accounting & front office system- Preparation of SARB regulatory returns- Preparation of half year and year end budgets- Daily interaction with the Money Market front office to facilitate a strong working relationship- Input on the technical accounting for any new money market products
