Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, I carry the values of hard work and resilience that led me to serve in the United States Navy. During my time as a Mineman, I was entrusted with the responsibility of locating and neutralizing underwater mines, directly supporting naval safety and mission success. This role involved not only technical skill but also the ability to lead and mentor over 100 sailors in high-stakes environments, focusing on mine warfare tactics, shipboard skills, and personal development.Since transitioning from military service, I have completed courses in A+, Network+, Security+, and CySA+ and am currently studying for the certification exams to further validate my knowledge. This academic journey is building a solid foundation in essential cybersecurity domains, including network protocols, security best practices, and threat detection techniques.In parallel, I’ve pursued my passion for financial markets, gaining expertise in retail and corporate investing across stock securities, options contracts, and cryptocurrency, which has sharpened my analytical abilities in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.Now, as a Cyber Defense and Analysis major with an Economics background, I am eager to translate my experience in disciplined environments and technical knowledge to cybersecurity. My goal is to provide value to my future organization by leveraging my foundation in strategic thinking, leadership, and a constant drive to learn.
