After college I worked at Charter Communications for two and half years doing phone broadband technical support. While working there I got to troubleshoot with all versions of Windows and MAC O/S. I got to troubleshoot small business and home networks. I also helped with small hardware installs, such as network cards. Before leaving I became one of the better techs on the floor and was voted a Charter Champion. When I left Charter I went to work for Mann+Hummel. I was hired on to work in the company’s proprietary application built in Access and Visual Basic and had connections to MAS 90. I was also hired to help backup the current network admin. One year after being there we decided to make the switch to SQL. Soon after I built the SQL server and merged the database over to SQL 2000. Once that was done I had to reprogram the application to work with SQL databases. Two years later we decided to switch to MAS 200 that was built in SQL. Once again I merged the old system over to SQL and reprogrammed the update system we had to work with SQL tables. While this was going on I obtained a very good understanding of file structures, user permissions, creating email accounts, and RIM Server. I work at Appriss Inc. where I started off as a implementation support analyst and now work as a systems programmer for our product service group.Currently I am the manager of Interface Engineering team for Data Services in Insights which is a division Equifax Workforce Solutions. Duties include running daily stand-up meetings, vetting, forecasting, and assign work to my team, reporting, and providing support to our Project and Product Deployment Teams. Working with our Architects, SREs, and TPMs on project planning to make sure things stay on schedule.
