About Justin Cooper

Growth mindset: I'm drawn towards professional challenges that place me outside of my comfort zone and lead to development of new skills in diverse areas. I've demonstrated past success in these scenarios, and I excel in situations where the end-goal is well-defined but the pathway is unclear. I am persistent and continuously seeking process improvements even when past results have been acceptable.Diverse technical skills: I've worked with microcontrollers, programming, automation, robotics, biomedical instrumentation, PCB design, and component-level troubleshooting. I relish the opportunity to learn new technologies. See endorsements below.Business acumen: I seek first to understand the needs and motivations of colleagues, customers, partners, donors, and benefactors that I interact with. I study and leverage business trends in the industries I work in to identify opportunities for mutual benefit. I have strong communication skills, and have performed the roles of tutor, manager, instructor, and interpreter. Passion for social issues: I have nine years of on-going experience working and volunteering for a global health cause that has challenged status quo and led to long-lasting systemic change. The appreciation for cultural understanding and international experience I've gained add value to any endeavor I undertake. Please reach out with a message or connection request. I typically don't connect to people I haven't interacted with, but please let me know if you see a way for us to work together.
