Currently, I'm Executive Producer at Everhance, a social news and edutainment company. Everhance's network has a global audience of 30M fans/followers. I oversee all editorial operations of our main flagship site, Twisted Sifter, which receives 100M+ pageviews a year. Our original video content has garnered over 2 billion views since we began production in 2016. I have written and produced hundreds of videos for the company, as well as spearheading video licensing efforts for partners like Yahoo, George Takei, AOL, Tumblr, Tim McGraw, ATTN: and more.In my previous roles as a Social Media Lead, I planned, pitched and executed social strategies for a variety of companies, not the least of which is AMC Theatres. During my time at AMC, I created industry leading social channels, managed a team of industry-leading film pundits and created online streaming shows that won the IAWTW awards for Best News Show and Best Live Show. Those shows, and the studio we built to shoot them, would later be acquired by Collider and then ScreenRant's Valnet Inc.Outside of work, philanthropy is important to me. Through my leadership on economic incentives and helping the city see film and broadcast production as viable economic pursuits, I was instrumental in bringing a Film Office back to Kansas City in 2014, after more than a decade away. In 2011, I established The Robert Altman Emerging Filmmakers Fund that sent 30 filmmakers through the Artist, Inc. program. In 2015, I spearheaded the relaunch of Film Society of Greater Kansas City as Film Society KC, with new branding, website and membership options for film fans throughout the region. From 2004 to 2006, I worked as a Communications Manager for kozoru, a startup that built a search technology that delivered answers to questions inside a wide array of IM clients. During that time, the company was profiled by Fast Company, Wired, San Jose Mercury News, CNET and BBC.Before that, I was a Copywriter for Muller + Company, where my work garnered numerous industry awards, including several Best of Show Addys and was recognized by Creativity, AdWeek, Graphis and AIGA.
