I am motivated and enthused by working for authentic, values driven organisations that aim to create a positive impact in the communities they serve with the integrity they deserve. I have had the privilege of working for a range of amazing organisations within the voluntary community and social enterprise sector for over 20 years. Providing me with the experience of working in senior leadership and business development roles. Including being a volunteer Trustee for a registered charity for 8 years.I am an excellent communicator and have extensive experience of leading, building and developing successful teams to deliver innovative and creative projects. I have achieved this by valuing the importance of building strong relationships based on trust, honesty and integrity with people from all backgrounds.This has been demonstrated in my past roles as an inspirational Business Development and Project Manager. I have well developed skills and experience in supporting people to develop social and private enterprises. Having provided excellent service as a Business Trainer, Adviser, Mentor and Coach. Taking pride in supporting people to build confidence and gain insight into how to achieve their own personal and business development.My expertise has been developed with over 30 years’ experience of working for a mixture of Charities, Housing Associations, Social Enterprises, Small and Medium Size Enterprises, Self-Employment and FTSE 100 Financial Services Companies. During this period, I provided high quality project management of a range of business support programmes and initiatives, including setting up and running a successful social enterprise. Several of these have won awards with one going on to win a European Award for the project achievements.
