Following TEMLs purchase of Enbridge Assets in December of 2016 I was selected by the Growth Projects Group to help complete projects for the Calgary Office. In December of 2017 I was transferred to Calgary to continue working with the Calgary Engineering group to further grow our assets. In June 2019 TEML changed their name to Kingston Midstream. At Kingston Midstream I have managed numerous projects ranging from $200,000 to $15,000,000 TIC. The projects varied draistically in scope and included butane injection facilities, a 66kV/25kV substation, a new field office building and major drainage projects. In addition to the above projects I executed a number of standard pipeline and facility projects that are typical within the midstream industry. My role at Kingston has included project scoping, project execution, developments of templates and standards while always finding time to mentor Junior staff.

Calgary

Managed numerous projects and portions of projects from the initial FEED stages through to final construction. The projects ranged in size from 1MM to over 100MM with the majority being based in Hardisty, Alberta. During this phase in my career I successfully took the Hardisty Unit Rail Connection from numerous design concepts, through detailed engineering and in the end constructing the facility within very strict timeline and budget restraints. This was the first unit train loading facility that was successfully commissioned in Canada with an initial capacity of 120,000bbl/day.

Calgary

My initial projects at Gibsons included small pipeline inspections and tank cleanings. As I moved on in my career the projects grew in dollar figure and complexity. These projects included modifications to existing facility piping, installing and implementing truck offload skids, etc. While completing these projects I was also responsible for handling the tank inspection requirements for Gibson’s Above Ground Storage Tanks (ASTs), a role I am still involved in.
