Justin D. Roberts is an independent film director and producer. He is currently directing a documentary called Live Free about the war in Ukraine, is in development on a syndicated series called Do Good that raises support for humanitarian nonprofits, is in postproduction on short documentary about war reporters called Chasing Fire, has another documentary on military transition called Drive On in post-production, and has a Department of Defense-sponsored documentary called Fighting Spirit set to be released this Spring.Justin has won eleven awards across the United States and the United Kingdom, screened before the White House and Congress, and was the recipient of the Santini Patriot Spirit Award. For his tour in Afghanistan, he was awarded the Bronze Star and the Army Commendation Medal for Valor.While in Ukraine, Justin co-founded an initiative called the Citizen Ambassadors, which connects victims in disaster and crisis zones to supportive communities and helps fight propaganda and misinformation.Justin graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary and holds a Masters in Media Arts and Communication and a Masters in Biblical Studies and a Bachelors in Communications from McNeese State University. In 2009, he served as chaplain over one of the most suicidal battalions in the military and developed a care program that helped soldiers connect and find hope.He and his works have been featured on Good Morning America, Fox & Friends, Variety, and Deadline Hollywood.
