Part of the Global Cloud Enablement DevOps team. I worked in an agile environment with a concentration on automation and simplification of both our internal and external cloud environments. In this role I worked as part of a team operationalizing our external cloud environments (such as AWS) and modernizing and automating our internal cloud offerings around virtual machines and containers. I was also the Linux platform lead for our business setting the direction of our Linux environment.

Part of an industry leading development program at General Electric. While on program I concentrated on developing technical skills, working in the following areas:Unix/Storage - Help implement a $2.5 million dollar VTL backups solution for the enterprise as well as daily support of 1000+ Unix systems.Networking - Daily support of Enterprise scale network environment, including break/fix, design and implementation of new hardware, and firmware upgrades of core switching environment. Implemented OpNet network modeling software as well as developed centralized management of our Blue Coat proxy environment.Application Development - Developed the Tibco Business Works standards for our environment as well as developed an enterprise SOA process to generate daily sales data that could be consumed in various formats, such as an iOS application, for leadership to use via a TIBCO designed backend.Security - Worked on the global incident response team, tasked with discovering and removing of threats to the business as well as APT. I also worked on the implementation of a NAC service across enterprise environment and developed and deployed tools for the team to be more efficient.Consumer Home Services - Worked with team to determine new hardware standards for service technicians as well as tested and initially configured new products to black out hardware screens while technicians were in movement due to new state laws. Due to these restrictions I implemented a new GPS navigation system for the drivers.
