Symplast is a funded health-tech startup developing a mobile-first, cloud-based ecosystem for managing clinical workflows, practice profitability, and patient engagement. Part of founding team, with experience including go-to-market strategy, pricing development, channel partnerships, implementation, acquiring early adopter customers and achieving revenue targets. Lead development of major-national accounts, build-out a US-based sales team. Collaborate with CEO on multiple rounds of fund-raising.Strong orientation towards action, decision making, process and metrics management, and innovation.

I head up the marketing, distribution and customer experience functions of Primecard for IGT Media. Here’s a little of what I’ve been up to:* Drive the expansion of the customer base. Charged with oversight of all direct mail, email, and advertising campaigns.* Coordinate with operations team to ensure all marketing programs and dollars are measurable and consistently deliver sound data for post-campaign analysis.* Develop social media strategy to encourage member involvement with Primecard. Generate buzz and community participation with target promotions and initiatives.* Oversight of partner marketing by building strong alignment with our media partners to deliver growth (18% / 2011) in new customer signups.In addition, I oversee the customer service and merchant services departments (team of 6), where I have a singular focus on improving connections with our membership, and driving performance through cross-selling, and targeted over-the-phone sales.

Developed 4 strategic media opportunities; coordinated over 75 affiliate partners; developed direct marketing campaign and materials for UK market-entry; advised on legal issues concerning California State import regulations.

Serving as policy liaison to Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Task Force; supporting preparation of substantive reports and issue papers as defined by Act 234; trade show management; and created online-sales communications designed to drive industry partners to support the Hawaii Clean Energy Initiative.

Represented and conceptualized the Student Center's development program; researched and analyzed products for future procurement; arranged and participated in various events; monitored basic operation; and devised plan for improved image in the student community.

Conducted a personal program of scholarly research, writing, and speaking on current state policy debates, focusing on transparency and government spending through policy briefs and commentaries; contributing author to the annual Hawaii Pork Report; organized and executed monthly seminars.
