Designed, product managed, delivered and launched, Zeal's Online Crisis Intervention platform (OCI) 1.0 in my own timeThe OCI platform was a near real time feed of instagram's social feed of at risk users, which monitored potential self harm posts, volunteers worked through a workflow management portal were able to classify and escalate Instagram posts, and in some cases intervene to prevent incidents from occurring.The platform utilized a Ruby on Rails app, Azure public cloud, data pipelines, and ingestion of the instagram feed in near real time.I was very fortunate to be able to consult and deliver on a forward thinking initiative backed by Zeal and the Vodafone Foundation to save lives. This project was done in my extra hours, as it was too much of a social impact to stand still and watch on the sideline.
