In my current role I provide expert consultation to cities and universities of all sizes on executive leadership for their law enforcement agencies and facilitate every step as they engage with their communities to find the right criteria to select a new chief executive. As a senior consultant I am responsible for all aspects of the client relationship and client satisfaction. As an influential and dynamic Senior Executive, I have extensive experience overseeing safety and security programs and processes and security information technology, while developing cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders to manage and prevent crises in fast-paced environments.     In 2018 Alaska applied for and became the 29th High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area designation and the 50th state to participate in the program, the first new designation since 2001. This will be a significant asset as Alaska combats its opioid epidemic, and is a federal, state, and local partnership that will benefit the entire state. In the summer of 2018 eight federal law enforcement agencies together with eight state and local law enforcement agencies came together and formed the Executive Board. All board members must represent an agency that has at least one officer committed full time to a HIDTA initiative. In August the Executive Board voted to elect the first Board Chair, and I was honored to be selected by my peers to take on this responsibility during the formation of the HIDTA. I served as chair for my full term until September, 2019.
