During my 8 week internship, I identified post-COVID business opportunities for the Facility Care business in the short and long term. I successfully delivered 3 recommendations that would increase revenue by $115M to senior leadership.

Peace Corps looked at my business background and time working in retail sales management at AT&T and felt that I would be perfect as an English Education Volunteer in the Republic of Georgia.My primary responsibility was co-teaching English from 1st-11th grade with two Georgian counterparts at a public school in Kutaisi, Georgia.

I participated in the International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition at CSULB with a team of four other students against four other schools from around the world. We ran a virtual manufacturing firm with domestic and international subsidiaries via computer simulation, and we were in charge of marketing, production, and finance decisions.My primary responsibility was forecasting sales for our three domestic markets and one foreign market; I accomplished this through Excel using linear regression and my nine-factor forecasting model. The nine factors included changes in the following: real GDP growth, seasonal factors, price, advertising, sales salary, sales commission, number of salespeople, new model introductions, and competitor actions. I worked heavily with Marketing and Production to ensure that we maximized sales, while not exceeding our production capabilities.We took first place in the competition and first runner-up for best financial documents. My team was phenomenal, and the competition was the greatest experience of my undergraduate career.
