-> Work on geospatial data (signal measurements, field data...) collected around 3G/4G/5G transmitters in the New York City (NYC) area, with the aim of calibrating a physical model (ASTER) to model wave propagation in this area.-> Python implementation of the model. -> Mathematical formulation of this calibration problem as a continuous optimization problem; writing in latex format.-> Scientific watch on methods/algorithms for solving this type of problem: gradient methods, evolutionary methods, CNN-type neural networks (U-Net architecture).-> Drafting of a state-of-the-art report in latex format, detailing each selected method.-> Implementation of algorithms in Python, from scratch or from libraries such as Gemseo, Scipy and Nlopt; performance comparison, via the MLFlow tool, with the method currently in production.Weekly oral presentation of work progress.

-> Work on data from heavy goods vehicles on freeways, to determine whether some travel with raised axles. -> Creation of vehicle groups using unsupervised classification methods: k-means and agglomerative clustering.-> Deliverable describing the dataset: missing data, histograms of variables, classification results (number of vehicles per group and average profile), comparison of average profiles for each class.
