I worked with large-scale and startup clients such as Walmart, GetUpside, Seated amongst others as well as pitching new business to introduce new and existing clients to how we approached brand work from a digitally native POV.

In 2017, Red Bull consolidated all of its music activity under one identity. As Global Head of Brand & Creative, I led the implementation and guideline setting of the identity for all global local markets (using a RASCI management system), working directly with local teams and their partner agencies to ensure consistency in brand hierarchy and communication.Additionally, i was charged with managing a team of across offices in New York, Santa Monica and Berlin – executing everything from full scale marketing campaigns, organic and advertising social media creative, to mobile-first UI/UX design for festival websites and event pages, print and digital editorial, key artwork for OOH advertising and basic brand logo assets – alongside team workflow/priority and goal setting/personnel management.

Doubleday & Cartwright is a creative and strategic agency operating at the intersection of sport and culture. My duties included execution and management of all creative output as well as staff allocation, new business management, general job trafficking and communicating/interfacing with clients. In my time at D&C i contributed to growth from a staff of 6 in one office to 25 in offices in NYC and LA. This was done through expanding our client base from one centered largely around a single client (Nike) to a wide range of cultural, publishing and consumer goods clients across a range of categories including Red Bull, Dick's Sporting Goods, ESPN, Converse, Apple, BluePrint Juice and more.

As Creative Director of The FADER, I was the first creative lead that was brought on with ther specific mandate to think of the property beyond its individual silos - the magazine, the website/blog, the events... and think of it as a holistic brand. Previously the brands activities were disparate and not cohesive, and under my direction we created a strong creative voice that leveraged its well respected history while also pushing ideas forward (as is the spirit of The FADER). All while understanding the importance of the printed product which stands nearly alone in what was previously as crowded universe of print music journalism.

My focus with Helicopter was assisting with magazine redesign projects for Conde Nast (Jane) Hachette Filippachi Media (Car & Driver), and Time inc. (People) — alongside various other projects in many different areas including comprehensive identity and design for Andre Balasz Properties.
