The Applied Analytics Club is a student-led club whose mission is to teach students how to harness data to tell meaningful stories and take action.• Currently managing a team of 5 to create weekly data science-related workshops.• Previously created and led a Covid-19 dashboard workshop that involved using the CDC’s dataset for 20-30 people. Inspected and cleaned the data using pandas and created visualizations with Tableau. The result was an interactive world map showcasing confirmed Covid-19 cases and death within each country.• Led MySQL workshops teaching how to create and modify databases as well as basic statements, aggregate functions, and join clauses.

The UWROV team is a student engineering group that designs, builds, and operates underwater robots for the international Marine Advanced Technology and Education competition. Competed in 2021 MATE World Championship• Worked in a team of 4 in the Interface & Networking Subgroup. Specifically worked on a modular proxy server in VMware for our ROV to communicate between our GUI, ROS, and Raspberry Pi.• Made special consideration to make ROS work with our client by designing an API of all the network calls we needed.• Organized how commands were received, stored, and sent in Python. Originally used bottle.py but now uses JSON objects with Flask Socket.io to communicate with React GUI and Wrench objects through ROS.• Completely redesigned my team’s website to utilize new technologies and appeal to new members.• Used Gatsby JS and React to build and deploy a static site, utilizing their vast plugins and libraries to improveperformance, accessibility, and SEO. (Ex: Gatsby-plugin-image, react-helmet, gatsby-plugin-manifest, etc...)• Created modular functional react components so that each page could be easily added and removed. Created reusablelayouts and components to reduce redundancy.• Worked closely with my lead to create a cohesive website theme and color scheme
