I started working in the mutual fund management industry in 1998. I liked that I could help improve people’s lives through their finances, but I wanted to have a more direct and personal impact. In 1999, I started training at the University of California, Davis in their Certified Financial Planner training program. This career path allowed me to help people achieve their personal goals. I was recruited by a nationally known financial planning firm in early 2000 and was promoted to training manager before the end of the year. I obtained my Certified Financial Planner designation in the spring of 2003, and after spending several years in an agency capacity, became an independent advisor in 2009. I enjoy working with active people who see their money as a means to do more with their lives. Whether you are involved in sports, like to travel, or are an involved grandparent, I want to help make the things that are important to you financially possible. I want to work with people who value a trusting relationship with a knowledgeable advisor. As a five time Ironman triathlon finisher, I enjoy living a multisport lifestyle, encouraging others to be active, and taking a healthy approach to work and life. I currently live in Northern California with my wife, Debbie, and two wonderful children.
