• Leads a five pilot Flight Operations Team that manages aircraft acceptance flight testing, experimental flight testing, various commercial data collection services, military ISR support services, capabilities demonstrations, regulatory compliance and reporting, customer training and operational/technical writing. Fosters a highly disciplined climate that demands accountability, attention to detail, effective communication and consistent teamwork in some of the most challenging environments. • With minimal notice, mobilizes pilots and UAS assets to deploy in support of time sensitive commercial and military operations both CONUS and OCONUS. • Develops organizational standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure all UAS flight operations are conducted with the highest standards of safety and repeatability in mind while adhering to all local, state and federal laws. Validates the proficiency of all internal and customer pilot candidates in order to uphold the highest standards of safety. • Conducts all regulatory dialogue between the organization and the FAA, local airport managers, customers, incident commanders, land owners and applicable local law enforcement agencies. Guarantees fulfillment of aircraft registrations, land owner use approvals, airport manager letters of authorization, FAA reports and 333/COA adjustments and applications.• Produced and implemented a preventative maintenance checks and services (PMCS) procedure for all aircraft, auxiliary hardware and field support equipment to reduce hardware failures in the field with tremendous success.• Collaborates with contracts and finance personnel during the requirements review, generation, execution and compliance enforcement processes of contracts and project plans for both commercial and military projects. Continuously updates regulatory, technical and training manuals and processes to ensure the highest levels of accuracy.

• Developed course curriculum, training standards, training aids and Method of Instruction (MOI) for the Maveric UAS Basic and Advanced Operator Certification Courses. • Evaluated customer requirements and designed course plans specific to their applications. Extensive experience with adapting training to specific commercial and military concepts of operation (CONOP).• Developed complex CONOPS in order to achieve customer needs, to include VTOL night operations, fixed wing night operations, fixed wing Multi-Aircraft Control (MAC) from a single GCS, remote-split operations and mobile operations.• Assisted engineering team and partnering organizations’ staff with complex aircraft design considerations, component integration challenges, component interference troubleshooting and performing experimental test flights in order to successfully incorporate new flight control hardware, software and payloads of various capabilities.• Conducted pre-flight planning, pre-mission briefings, and post-mission briefings while actively adjusting mission execution methods to accomplish customers’ data requirements. Finalized all operations by capturing CONOP details and lessons learned in detailed after action reports (AAR).• Operational use of SWIR, EO (fixed) w/ zoom, non-stabilized EO gimbal, gyro-stabilized EO gimbal, dual EO/IR gimbal, high resolution mapping, multispectral and other experimental sensor packages.• Conducted a wide range of Depot Level Maintenance, to include but not limited to, structural repairs, autopilot sensor troubleshooting, sensor package troubleshooting, erratic flight troubleshooting, avionics component replacement, control surface repair and GCS software troubleshooting. Proficient in the repair of carbon fiber, kevlar, polycarbonate and other composite materials.

• Mobilized and demobilized sixteen personnel for two, one year deployments to Iraq. Ensured that all equipment was fully mission capable (FMC), all personnel had personal and legal matters in order and coordinated all matters of travel and export/import of materials with Unit Liaisons. • Performed duties as Lead Raven UAS Operator for unit and attached elements. Successfully completed more than 200 hours of ISR collection, approximately 160 hours during night operations. Seamlessly integrated the Raven RQ-11 platform into the unit’s existing tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs), thus allowing for effective overwatch in support of ground operations by U.S. Forces. Effectively conducted perimeter security, route reconnaissance, tactical assembly area (TAA) overwatch, indirect fire point of origin acquisition and patterns of life ISR collection for Unit’s Intelligence Cell and other entities. • Performed duties as Lead Instructor for a 72 person Armor Company; ensuring that every individual proved to be proficient on numerous types of equipment/technology; including but not limited to, the M1A2 Abrams Battle Tank, Blue Force Tracker GPS System, Radio Frequency Jammers, NBC detection equipment, Interagency Identity Detection Equipment (biometrics) and the equipment and methods to administer battlefield trauma care to casualties.• Awarded 2 Army Commendation Medals for proven leadership methods, actions as Raven UAS Operator and leading the assault team that apprehended one of Multi-National Division-Baghdad’s (MND-B) Top 5 High Value Targets. • Consistently adapted to new technologies where proficiency had to be achieved in a short amount of time. Led four man tank crew to qualify 'Superior' (910/1000) with the new M1A2 Abrams SEP V2 Battle Tank less than 1 month after receiving initial training.
