At this point in time, FactSet (and thus PA) was effectively an equity-only product. Learned the ropes through development of enhancements, fixing bugs, medium sized new project work all geared around portfolio managers.In the summer of 2005, I was given an opportunity to branch out, build/lead a team and develop a brand new product called Fixed Income PA. This marked FactSet's first foray into the fixed income markets, and thus my first exposure to fixed income as well. It was a blast and a great opportunity to learn on a multitude of levels. We developed tight relationships with our sales teams, product teams and ultimately those early adopting clients to create one of FactSet's highest profile new product initiatives.In the spring of 2010, building on top of the success of FIPA... the Core PA team (from where I originated) and FIPA teams came together under my wing as I became the Associate Director of SoE - PA & FI. Still an very active developer to this day, my responsibilities/experience expanded even further as an architect, innovator and leader of FactSet's highest-profile and largest revenue generating products.
