Funk Software was acquired by Juniper Networks in December 2005.* Provided senior consulting, deployment and integration services on Funk Software’s enterprise and service provider suite of products including Steel-Belted Radius and Odyssey Access Client.* Rolled out the first large-scale deployment of Unified Access Control, Juniper's layer 2/3 NAC solution, in a massive integration effort involving a vast array of Juniper's network security products: Steel-Belted Radius, Odyssey, SSL VPN, IDP and Netscreen SSG gateways.* Coordinated with engineering and product management teams to ensure timely resolution of product bugs and to bring appropriate visibility to enhancement requests.* Published tech notes and white papers relating to security topics such as “Analyzing an EAP-PEAP Authentication Transaction at the Packet Level” and “Using OpenSSL to Create and Manage RADIUS Server Certificates for Implementing 802.1X EAP Solutions.”* Developed, maintained and delivered flexible training courses revolving around Steel-Belted Radius and Odyssey Access Client and the technologies/protocols utilized by these products, including 802.1X port-based security, EAP, wireless networking security, 802.11a/b/g, and authentication methods supported by SBR/OAC.* Attended various Juniper Networks product training, transfer of information sessions and sales training seminars immediately following the acquisition of Funk Software to acquire new expertise.
