Secondary responsibilities: user interface design, business development, fundraising, sales.

Project manager for custom application development. Included the supervision of multiple software development teams and consultants, creation of business and technical requirements, system testing, internal user training, data management, and troubleshooting. Primary focus was developing a blended e-commerce and social networking website through the integration of Magento, Salesforce, and Joomla. Secondary focus was development in Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

As Director of Web Development: worked closely with the web development team to launch new and innovative website features, acted as the first line of defense for troubleshooting user issues, and created a technology roadmap for the organization. As Director of Communications: Managed all outbound communication for the club, wrote a weekly newsletter, and tripled our engagement metrics on Facebook and Twitter over the course of a year. The DC Triathlon Club is the third largest triathlon club in the nation, with over 1,500 members in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Participated in a 76-day wilderness expedition in remote areas of the Yukon Territory. Practiced leadership skills, teamwork, and risk management under the most extreme of conditions. Mastered outdoor skills in the areas of backpacking, mountaineering, and whitewater canoeing.

Ran 40 National Book Bank distributions from 20 warehouse locations nationwide, providing 10 million books to children in need. Led the year-long process of transitioning the online Marketplace to using multiple fulfillment providers, decreasing fulfillment time by 75% and increasing inventory by 400%.
