As a native of Virginia Beach, VA, now calling Greenwood, SC, home, my journey through mental health challenges, substance use disorder, incarceration, and homelessness has fueled my passion for community health advocacy. Currently, I serve as the Director of Community Impact at the United Way of the Lakelands, where I oversee the Lakelands Counts data platform, lead the Greenwood Counts Community Consortium (GC3), and manage programs and impact dedicated to improving health outcomes across our community.My educational background spans Systems Approaches for Healthy Communities, Data and Analytics, Public Health, Non-Profit Management, Community Health Work, Peer Support, Mental Health and Life Coaching, and Business/ Marketing. These disciplines empower me to understand the community deeply and drive meaningful change.In addition to my professional work, I chair an award-winning coalition called the Greenwood Abbeville Coalition, focusing on eliminating substance misuse through education and resources, and am an active member of the South Carolina Public Health Association.Outside of work, I’m involved with several volunteer initiatives, a passionate hip-hop artist, a dedicated fitness enthusiast, a mountain biking aficionado, and a connoisseur of fine coffee.
