The NAWM includes all alumni of the College, all tenured members of the Wabash faculty and emeritus faculty, all members of the Board of Trustees and emeritus trustees, and any other persons who have rendered service to the College and been accepted for membership by the Board of Directors of the NAWM.OrganizationThe NAWM is led by alumni volunteers serving as members of its national Board of Directors, as leaders of its Regional Associations, and as its Class Agents and Reunion Chairmen.

Corporate Communication Lead and DBSL - I was asked to serve as an interim lead for communication in 2023. I had produced our internal communication events / town hall meetings since 2012 and had domain knowledge to keep communications functioning until a new leader was identified (Nov 23). I produced, distributed, and planned our communications for 10 months in an official capacity and was the LS rep for a new intranet buildout with Dx, but had assisted this team with creative work for 10 years prior in various capacities. I did this in addition to serving as a DBSL and DE+I mentor.DBSL (Danaher Business System Lead) - promotion from previous role. Focus was on VPM coaching and Training and Facilitation Techniques for Instructors (TFTI - certified trainer) in the New Product Innovation space. I coached on VPM for 7 years; leading kaizens globally, doing benchmarking events in EU and US, and across multiple Danaher OpCo’s.Staff Project Manager - promotion / scope growth to focus on leading through DBS (Danaher Business System). Spread of scope to full global org across all business groups. I built collaboration systems, coached on DBS tools (primarily Visual Project Management (certified practitioner) for on time delivery (primarily R&D). I also led workstreams in DE+I, and began serving as a mentor through Engage Mentoring. Project Manager - promotion from previous role for all R&D. Started working with Diagnostics on a combined Excellence in Innovation program here as well (cross-OpCo work) to build IP funnel. We were acquired by Danaher during this time, separated into 2 operating companies, and began integrating DBS into our business.Sr. Project Administrator - managed vendor contracts, FDA and internal quality documentation, and collaboration architecture for R&D on a molecular diagnostic platform.

Running my own LLC, I learned what the art of doing business looks like from under the hood. My activity as a small business owner didn't change the world, but it did allow me to be a better contributor to the company I work for, as well as a better collaborator between my company and others. As a PM, I managed rapid prototyping of printed circuit boards from design to build in a regulated environment. These projects were on a 2 day to 6 week turn time. I added value to this role by giving my group process automation that was not previously available, as well as adding a knowledge sharing component that helped us work more efficiently with other groups. It was a great learning experience.
