I gained experience in deploying projects on instances and containerizing them to facilitate scaling. Additionally, I built a comprehensive monitoring and alerting solution using Prometheus, alertmanager, node-exporter, blackbox-exporter, cadvisor, and Grafana. Moreover, I contributed by creating helpful bash scripts to streamline the installation setup. I also gained valuable insights into how development, staging and production systems function in the industry. I learned the critical role of staging environments in ensuring reliable and stable application releases through thorough testing before production deployment. Additionally, I familiarized myself with the DevOps CI/CD pipeline, which serves crucial to automates the software/service delivery process; enabling enabling frequent and reliable releases for the clients.Overall, this internship provided me with a great opportunity to gain practical knowledge, perform R&D with new tools and apply my skills in cloud computing, collaboration, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices.
