At the Los Angeles Clean Tech Incubator's Advanced Prototype Center, I gained hands-on experience in a high-pressure environment, contributing to a dynamic team and honing a diverse skill set: 3D Printing: Managed and maintained 3D printers, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.Printed complex parts and prototypes to support various projects. Water Jet Operation: Operated a water jet cutter to fabricate precise components, contributing to the development of advanced prototypes. Power Tools and Basic Electrical Engineering: Utilized power tools for construction and assembly, and applied basic electrical engineering skills to create and troubleshoot electronic components. Rapid Prototyping: Developed and iterated on prototypes quickly and efficiently, meeting tight deadlines and adapting to evolving project requirements. Team Collaboration: Worked collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve project goals, fostering a supportive and innovative work environment.

During my fellowship, I focused on building science and energy-efficient construction, culminating in earning a certificate in Building Science Principles from the Building Performance Institute (BPI). Gained in-depth knowledge of the principles and practices of building science, with a particular emphasis on energy efficiency and sustainable construction methods. Studied and applied techniques for improving the energy performance of buildings, including insulation, air sealing, and HVAC optimization. Earned a certificate in Building Science Principles from BPI, demonstrating my proficiency in the fundamental concepts of building science and energy efficiency. Participated in hands-on projects and case studies, applying building science principles to real-world scenarios to enhance building performance and sustainability. Worked with industry professionals and fellow participants to exchange ideas and develop innovative solutions for energy-efficient building practices.
